Small Group Fitness Training - Total Fitness Makeover & Gravity Express

Small group training offers a social, budget-friendly personal training option, without compromising on the benefits of working with a fitness professional.  HealthStyle Fitness offers two small group programs.

Total Fitness Makeover integrates a wide array of fitness approaches including strength, cardio, Pilates, yoga, boot camp training, functional and core training, and more, keeping it fun, energizing and results-focused.  You’ll meet three times a week and receive personalized nutritional counseling as well.

Gravity Cincinnati is truly our express workout – if you think you’re too busy to get fit, think again.  30 minutes, three times a week is truly all you need to get results in this power-packed, waste-no-time program.

Adventure Fitness Boot Camp for Women

Ladies Only:  Adventure Fitness Boot Camp is a four-week outdoor (except for Dec, Jan & Feb - we're indoors!) fitness program that offers fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training.  Yes, we know that 5:30 a.m. comes early, but ask one of our hundreds of returning boot campers – you have never felt better!

How much does it cost?

Personal training is an investment in your health, well-being and longevity; there’s no way to put a price tag on that.  However, we know what it’s like to live on a budget and we want to make sure good health is available to everyone!

Private personal training is $50 per session; if you add a spouse, child or friend to your session the cost is significantly lower per person.

Our Total Fitness Makeover program ranges from $17 - 25 per session depending on how long you participate. Gravity is $25 per session. Due to the high demand of the TFM & Gravity Express programs, we do ask that tuition is either paid in full or you use the monthly payment plan to secure your placement in the program.

Adventure Boot Camp for Women is $14.95 per session.

 

 
 
How Do I Get Started Working with HealthStyle Fitness?
 
 
It’s easy!  We’ll begin with a thorough consultation to review your health history and needs, set goals and timelines and establish your current fitness status to give us a started point.  We’ll also create a schedule that accommodates your lifestyle.  The second step is a 90-minute group Foundational Workshop with Brian Calkins called “Clearing up the Myths:  Sharing the Realities & Empowering You for Success.”  The workshop lays the course for your path to optimal health and fitness.  You’ll also get a tutorial to our industry leading nutritional software, which you’ll use to track your dietary needs and progress.
 
Now you’re ready to start working with your trainer!

 

 
 
What Will I be Doing at Each Workout?
 
 
That depends on what’s best for you.  Your workout is designed based upon your health history, your goals, any current limitations and your time available for exercise. We educate you on all of the essential components of good health: flexibility, stamina, endurance, strength and weight reduction, and of course, take you through personalized training sessions.  Clients generally start to feel better, physically and mentally, the first week they begin their training.

 

 
 
Do You Help Me with My Nutrition & Eating?
 
 

Absolutely!  In addition to kicking off your program with our thorough Foundational Nutrition Workshop, all clients have access to our nutritional software system to ensure you get the right balance of nutrients for your goals.  There’s no guesswork, and before you know it, proper eating will become second nature for you.

 

 
 
Are you going to sell me a huge package of training sessions or use high pressure sales tactics?
 
 
Absolutely not! While many gyms, health clubs, fitness centers and personal trainers entice you into signing contracts for multiple sessions or even months of personal training, we’re so confident in our approach that we offer pay-as-you-go personal training and the option to discontinue at any time. We simply don't feel the need to lock anyone into a long contract or sell huge personal training packages.  On top of that, our money-back guarantee ensures your satisfaction at no risk.

I feel a little nervous about getting started, I have never done anything like this before.
 
 
Many new clients feel that way!  The great thing about HealthStyle is, our studio is private so there are no crowds and no need for self-consciousness.  You will quickly get comfortable with your trainer and/or the other members of your small group, and you’ll feel so good after your workout that you’ll look forward to the next one.

Can I come in anytime I want?

Our studio is private, so all training sessions are by appointment. We schedule as early as 5:00am or as late as 8:00pm.  You’ll find that setting appointments keep you on track much better – leaving workouts to chance give you too much opportunity to procrastinate!

Can my spouse, children or friend train with me too?

A: We encourage it!  We want to help as many Cincinnatians as possible, and adding a person to your training sessions gets the cost lower too.

What should I wear?

Most clients train in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Some wear sweats. It doesn't matter as long as you feel comfortable and can move easily.

How long is each session?

Private one-on-one training and our TFM small group class last for an hour.  Gravity Express is a 30-minute, high-paced workout. New exercisers begin gently and more advanced enthusiast progress more aggressively
